2021年8月14日(土)第271回例会報告

季節外れの豪雨の中、第271回調布フリーフライトトーストマスターズクラブの例会が開催されました。最初は第一スピーカーのパワポの操作から始まりました。これ大事です。10分遅れで開会宣言。今日は3名のゲストが参加。Word of the dayは"Unseasnable/季節外れ”。テーブルトピックは季節にマッチしたコロナ感染症と東京2020オリンピックに関する質問。ベスト賞はゲストのWさん。

準備スピーチはMさんによる、世界のリーダーに学ぶ失言・迷言集。日本の首相や米国の大統領などの失言・迷言の背景を知るとさらにニヤリとしてしまいます。面白かった。2番目はパワポ操作を練習していたYさん。健康、ダイエットに関するスピーチ。はて、Yさんはこれを本当に実行するのだろうか！？と思ってしまった。いずれのスピーチもパワポをシンプルに使い、メッセージがシンプルに伝わるものでした。残念なのはスピーカーが2名なのでベスト賞はなし。

例会後、新入会員やゲストの方々の質問に答えるように、トーストマスターズについて話が進みました。本来の会場での例会なら隣に着席した方が例会やトーストマスターズのことについて紹介をしますが、それができないオンライン例会。貴重な交流の場となりました。

次回例会は2021年8月28日(土)　14時～です。

The 271st Chofu Free Flight Toastmasters Club was held in the unsocending heavy rain. It started with the operation of the first speaker powerpo. This is important. The opening declaration was made 10 minutes late. Today, 3 guest participated. Word of the day is "Unseasnable". The table topic is questions about coronal infections and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics that match the season. The best prize was won by Mr. W, a guest.

The prepared speech is a collection of lost speeches and strays by Mr. M to learn from world leaders. It is even more grinning when I learn the background of the losses and superstitions of the Prime Minister of Japan and the President of the United States. Interesting. The second is Mr. Y who was practicing powerpo operation. Speech on health and diet. Will Y really do this!? I thought. Both speeches were simple to use powerpo and simple to convey the message. Unfortunately, there are two speakers, so there is no best prize.

After the meeting, we talked about Toastmasters to answer questions from new members and guests. If it is a meeting at the original venue, the person seated next to it will introduce the meeting and Toastmasters, but it is an online meeting that can not do it. It was a valuable place for exchange.
