高知TMCとの合同例会/Joint meeting with Kochi TMC

オリンピックが開幕した連休、第270回例会を高知トーストマスターズクラブと合同で開催しました。高知クラブは、英語クラブですので今日はオール英語の例会となりました。

即興スピーチではお互いのクラブや、地域のことが具体的にわかる質問がそれぞれのクラブのメンバーに割り当てられました。仲良くそれぞれのクラブの２名が同数でベストスピーカーとなりました。

続いての準備スピーチは３本。リーダーシップについて、また、コロナ対応を巡る時事的な分析のスピーチもありましたが、入会ほやほやのSさんの堂々たるアイスブレイクスピーチがベストとなりました。

論評セッションも、いつものメンバーとは違う方と行うととても新鮮な気持ちになります。Encouragingな例会となりました。

オンラインは遠方でも合同で例会ができるのがよいですね。お酒好きが多いという共通点のある両クラブ、いつか直接お会いして杯を交わしたいです！

The 270th annual meeting of the Olympic Games was held in weekend. The joint meeting was held with Kochi TMC. Kochi TMC is an English club, so today was an all-English meeting.

In the impromptu speech, members of each club were assigned questions that specifically understood each other's clubs and their regions. Two people from each club became the best speakers in the same number.

Three preparatory speeches followed. There was also a speech on leadership and current analysis on corona response, but the stately icebreak speech of Mr. S who joined was the best.

The commentary session is also very fresh when you do it with a different person than the usual members. It was an encouraging meeting.

It is good to be able to meet online together even in the distance. I would like to meet two clubs that have something in common that there are many drinkers, someday I want to meet them in person and have a cup!
