Kさんが日本語スピーチコンテスト、全国大会へ

調布フリーフライトトーストマスターズクラブ（調布FFTMC）が所属するディビジョンBのコンテストが、4月16日行われ、私たちのクラブの大御所・Kさんが、国際スピーチコンテストの日本語の部で見事優勝しました。Kさんは5月21日（土）、オンラインで開かれる、トーストマスターズインターナショナル・ディストリクト76（日本支部）の国際スピーチコンテスト・日本語の部に出場されます。

トーストマスターズは世界組織で、日本支部はディストリクト76と呼ばれています。各ディストリクトは複数のディビジョンに、各ディビジョンはまた複数のエリアに分かれています。調布FFTMCは今年度は、ディビジョンBの中のエリア23に所属しています。

Kさんは、2月に行われたクラブ内のコンテストでまず優勝、3月に近隣４クラブが集まって開いたエリアコンテストを勝ち抜き、ディビジョンコンテストにコマを進められました。

5月の全国大会でのKさんの健闘を皆で祈ります！

Mr. K advances to the all Japan speech contest!

Chofu Free Flight Toastmasters Club is proud to announce that our veteran member Mr. K is going to participate in the all Japan speech contest! He won the Japanese segment of the Division B international speech contest, that was held online on April 16. The District 76 international speech contest will also be held online on Saturday, May 21.

Toastmasters International is an worldwide organization and Japanese branch is called District 76. District 76 is divided into several Divisions, which are also divided into several Areas. Our Chofu FFTMC belongs to the Area 23 under Division B this fiscal year.

Mr. K first won the club contest in February, then took over the Area champion title in March before participating in the Division B contest. We look forward to seeing him taking the all Japan title!
