What’s your favorite?

The 344th meeting of Chofu Freeflight Toastmasters’ Club was all about our favorite things.

During the table topic session, we all answered questions like our favorite computer OS, instant noodle and gelato flavor. But the best speaker award was stolen by TM Y, who shared a lovely memory about going to a public bath with his late father.

One of the prepared speeches was also about one’s favorite — TM I, our president, made a speech titled “I Love L.” This was his second attempt with the same title and again, spoke about his love for lemon sour. Another speech was made by TM Y, who spoke about customer harassment.

Today’s word was “exceptional,” which was so versatile that fit in various context.

第344回調布フリーフライトトーストマスターズクラブの例会は、私たちの好きなものについてでした。

テーブルトピックセッションでは、好きなコンピューターOS、インスタントラーメン、ジェラートの味などの質問に答えました。しかし、最優秀スピーカー賞は、亡くなった父親と銭湯に行った素敵な思い出を語ったTM Yに奪われました。

準備されたスピーチの1つも、好きなものに関するものでした。私たちの会長であるTM Iは、「I Love L」というタイトルのスピーチをしました。これは同じタイトルでの2回目の試みであり、再びレモンサワーへの愛を語りました。もう1つのスピーチはTM Yによるもので、カスタマーハラスメントについて話しました。

今日の単語は「例外的」で、さまざまな文脈に当てはまる汎用性がありました。
